No Paul Blart Fans Allowed!

All I can say is do yourself a favor, and go see this movie today. It is sad, moving, depressing and uplifting all in 2 hours of your time. You could do worse. And stay for the credits, it's fun.

My palate has been cleansed. However the sad state of society, Paul Blart, packed theater, Slumdog, 10 people, all over 40 yrs old.

while there is part of the world that find Blart and nearly anything by Adam Sandler or race car related as top shelf movies, there are some (like myself) that like to go to movies to escape the everyday. I have enough to bog me down, I have enough to be depressed about, I have enough to remind me that a to do list at work is still waiting for me. I don't always need to go to a movie to remember that people are poor, hungry, beaten, etc. I want to escape, laugh, travel to the stars and maybe find hope in life even if it is portrayed in a mindfluff movie.

In fact, I think I just found topic for my next blog! Thanks Chris!

A funny movie is rare and a gem to find. Paul Blart has a couple of amusing moments but how many fat jokes and guys falling down can one stuff into 98 minutes? My next movie will be Milk. Jesus, no wonder I am in need of anti-depressants!

I'd be curious how you felt after seeing Milk. Yes, it ends sadly, but for me (aka, gay guy) it was actually uplifting. So much has come from that time in SF..
