This was a disgustingly unnecessary defeat. Coakley was a comatose campaigner and a corporatist one to boot. This should teach the Dems a lesson: stop going Republiucan Lite and nominating corporate Democrats! For nearly every time they nominate these corporate candidates (like Ben Nelson, as another example) we, the people, end up losing, and often so does the party.
Nice game, Dems. Only YOU could have pulled this off.
