I had the pleasure of seeing game 162 (not the big one, but a great one nonetheless) last Sunday at the Dome. While I love the fact that we won 2 World Series there, I will be glad to move to the less cramped new venue next year, where there will be a little more legroom and slightly wider seating. That Metrodome was a dump in a lot of ways! Remember, let me know if you're ever going to be in Minneapolis in summertime and we'll try to do a game.
Jack, I'd love to see the new Twins park next summer. Maybe it'll happen. The Twins got hosed tonight in New York. Mauer's "foul ball" would've started a rally that would have produced two runs at least. Ugh.
Yeah, but I'm starting to think Joe Nathan is losing it. That guy has been so uneven the past 2 months it's frightening. One thing for sure: the GM had better not sit on his hands all winter like he did last year---patchwork quilts of old dead horses and untried rookies never win World Series!
