When the coked up dumbass took to the podium last night, fresh off a last line sniffed off his gal pal's plastic ass, I wasn't watching. But immediate reaction on that twitter machine means you dont have to watch the shit show. You let others watch and seconds later tell you what dumb fucking thing came out somebody's pie hole.

Trump Junior rambled on, complete with rehearsed hand gestures, slurring his way thru such whoppers as the virus came courtesy of the Chinese Communist Party and ruined Daddys economic miracle which of course neither one happened because Junior is a lying scared sniffy boy. He called Uncle Joe the "Loch Ness monster of the swamp" which of course begs the fact there is no Loch Ness Monster and the swamp is where Trumpers crawled out of.

Oh Junior, when Daddy slapped you way back then when you were just Date Rape Don, thats as close to human touch as you will ever get from Daddy.

The couple of billboard ambulance chasing lawyers who decided that a bunch of black people marching on THEIR goddamned street warranted them walking out da museum house with an AR 15 and a popgun. If you dont re elect the Suburb Protector in Chief the blacks will move into the low income housing forcibly built in your neighborhood (which in their case low income housing means less than 12000 square feet) and start walking around and other intimidating shit. These two billboard parasites hiding in the museum house should stay in the museum house and become museum pieces of the past themselves.

Matt Gaetz, a drunken Florida congressman with a 49 year old adopted son, claimed if Biden won that MS 13 gang members will move next door to you. Aye yi yi. I hear thats in the Biden playbook. But only moving them in next to Gaetz so he can wear his gas mask more.

Even the Mail In Voter in Chief himself sitting in a circle of hostages letting them praise him for getting them out of various shithole countries and back home to this one. It led to the precious, only in 2020 America, moment when Pastor Andrew Brunson told his story of being imprisoned by a Turkish thumb breaker named Erdogan and Trump then referred to the kidnapper as a righteous dude. And finally Nimrata Nikki Haley, firing the first salvo for the November 4th launch of Haley 2024. Reasonable tone and understated points. Haley spoke of her lowering of America's swastika Confederate flag after Dylan Roof murdered 9 black folk at a church (remember the cops bought him dinner on the way to jail). She also claimed America was not a racist country. Yeah thats why she changed her name from Nimrata Randhawa to Nikki Haley. Totally not for reasons you may think. And then she endorsed the guy who would run the Confederate flag right back the flag pole.

People of color like Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Vernon Jones and Herschel Walker were not there to draw minority voters into the GOP. They are nothing but useful idiots that make the white folks on the fence about a racist like Donald Trump vote for him because those nice articulate colored folk dont think hes so bad. Its deplorable.

Uncle Joe!

Hey he wasnt my first choice. He wasnt even my second choice. He may not have even been third or fourth. But I am and have always been a Joe Biden fan boy. I think the man is as real as it gets right down to the gaffes and the pauses as he gets his thoughts together to avoid stuttering. The Republicans, who support a one man blabbering fool of a cult, take stuttering or any disability as a weakness and attack it as dementia or senility which is failing. Biden is a scrapper who never tolerates bullies and people who punch down , the 2020 version of an actual American political party.

Years ago, Joe Biden wasn't even veep yet, he was running for the 2008 Democratic nomination for President (remember that?) and came to Omaha to appear at a local independent bookstore just blocks away from my Moms house. I wanted to go, Mom wanted to go, and we piled into the car for the short ride. Well needless to say the crowd waiting to get in was David Sedaris worthy. Way too many people for my Mom to wait in line with so we left. The Biden appeal even in purple Omaha was evident. Joe of course didnt last long in that campaign but he remained in the eye and became Barack Obamas running mate and Vice President.

This is a serious time folks. There is a real threat to not only American democracy but to America itself. A fascistic moron is leading a cult of fellow fascists and white supremacists to bring the iron hand of authoritarianism down on the people. Though I wish the Democrats had another Obama or anybody under 70 rising to the forefront the Democratic voters decided that 3 people over 70 were the way to go. I get it. I do. My desire to send Trump into oblivion and hopefully prison made me never ever not put Biden in my thoughts. He is Uncle Joe. He is the cool uncle, the relative everyone loves, the buddy who when he asks you how you are really means it. He's a decent man. My hope for progressive policy and Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders was always a house of cards. Decency was what America needs.

When Bidens candidacy was saved by Rep Jim Clyburn and the black voters of South Carolina and the sudden dropping out of Mayor Pete, Amy Klobuchar, and Mike Bloomberg "saved" the party from Bernie Sanders Joe was the apparent man. Lets face it, Sanders was a risk that could have been taken in 2016 but in 2020 wasnt a risk worth taking. Biden was the safe choice. The choice of the cautious. And dammit, cautious is what we have to do to rid ourselves of this fascist menace.

So here we are. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.A 78 year old white man and a 58 year old woman of color. Against a 74 year old loudmouthed strongman and a admiring closet case. Its not ideal but it is what it is.

Biden gave what is called the speech of his life Thursday night. He was forceful, decent and there were no gaffes. The Republicans sat there in awe, and could only rebut it with their normal far left obsessive screeches and the teleprompter insults. As if being able to read is a flaw. Why not be like our guy, a dyslexic Adderal addict with a tendency to go off the rails and tell people to inject bleach.

Decency. Normal. Fuck policies, those never get done anyway. We need the stability of a guy who can calm down a fractured society. Once that happens, policy becomes a fight again. But the only way for that to happen is to vote out a party of racists, dummies and fascists and send them back under the rock. Look, the GOP has become the National Socialist Party of America 2020. Everyone who is a decent person has abandoned this band of thugs and bullies by now. The only ones left are the deplorables. For that is never ever to be forgiven. Even after these adoring collaborators are voted out of office, they shall forever be known as American traitors, Vichy type cowards, spineless suckups and never to be taken seriously again. Yeah Im talking about you Ben Sasse.

Kiwi Envy!

I cant keep up. Every day every hour this country drops further into the abyss. And is led by an orange Lucifer enabled by what can only be described as collaborators, traitors, racists and the truly stupid.

Yesterday the Degrader in Chief flew into Minnesota and babbled on about talking to God and yammering about "crummy" colleges and dumb people and crummy people and rolling his eyes back in his head as trained monkeys applauded. What it is that causes people to applaud a mentally ill madman is just beyond my comprehension but there they are.

The Monster in Chief decided to gloat at the "surge" of Covid cases in New Zealand. New Zealand is led by a nasty woman named Jacinda Ardern who eradicated the Trump Virus for over 100 days before it "exploded" with a "massive" 9 cases. Trump, a dimwitted American orangutan , and obvious inferior to a Kiwi female, said the New Zealand government had bragged about zero covid cases just to "show me something". Yeah, President Pandemic, they showed how to successfully handle a global pandemic. Your "plan" to keep the Dow Jones high, encourage people to inject bleach, discourage mask use and try to keep a base of  older susceptible boneheads alive until November really sucked.

Somehow, an duly elected human being tries to insist that 22 deaths is far worse than 170,000 deaths and still maintains 40% support. Nobody on earth has fucked this up more than the greatest shithole nation in the world and anyone with the IQ of a fly knows it. Yet the Virus in Chief continues to blame China, Europe, Democrats, Antifa, crummy people, blue states, Minneapolis, Portland, Fauci, Birx, Persons, Women, Men, TV and anybody but the obvious culprit.

The Democrats begin to unravel tonite. Be assured, this virus called Trump and his gangsters are ready. Toughen up.

Husker Football!

 

My Dad took me to my first Nebraska football game when I was 6. I dont remember that much about it because it was in the 1960s and I was 6 but I do remember it started a 35 year father son bonding over a goddamned football team. I dont even like football that much. Of the 5 major sports it ranks 5th with me and if the NFL got sued out of existence it wouldnt bother me at all. 

But Nebraska football? Its really the only sports team I honestly have an emotional bond with. I grew up watching them. I went to the University and actually went to class and graduated from there. I watch them play football every week and even though they suck, I still keep coming back for more.

 I have season tickets and go in person every chance I get. Trust me, its a pain in the ass as I get older to endure the traffic, the crowds of younger and younger people drunk off their ass, the shitty weather and the losing. but I endure because quite frankly, they are family to me. So when the Big 10 called off fall sports today, including football, I was actually happy. Happy that my family was being looked after because they sure as hell wont look out for themselves. 

Nebraska football is big business in this state. It fuels the economy of its home city, Lincoln, and it makes a shitload of money for this University. Its the pride of this state which really doesn't have that much to offer. Yet, this Covid 19 pandemic is taking control. Because this state and its piss poor leadership did absolutely nothing in March when this killer virus started, we are in this position now. No fucking football. And as usual, with the Republican mindset in this state, reality is still being denied. We're gonna play anyway is the mantra coming out of the University, the Governors office, the Regents office, the coaches office and the locker room. Who they gonna play? Uhhhh The University of Mars? The Omaha Balloon School? Nobody knows. But dammit they gonna play somebody cuz what the hell else is there to do around here?

They will defy the $51 million they get from the Big 10 conference they just joined a few years back to be the cannon fodder for the Ohio States and the Michigans and the Wisconsins of the football world. They will play anyone at anytime, no matter how outclassed they or the opponent might be. They will let fans into the 90,000 seat covid dish called Memorial Stadium and take their money. They will play football and aint nobody gonna tell them what to do. Nebraska, the mask deniers of college football.

But of course, NONE of this will happen. $51 million is a lot of money to risk over a game thats been cancelled by your boss who has forbidden you from playing. Nebraska will throw a tantrum and guffaw and huff and puff and their 2020 football record will still end up at 0-0. Because in the world of college athletics, risking money is wayyyyy more important than risking lives. The lives are unimportant. You can always recruit more lives willing to risk their health and future well being for instant gratification.

I will miss Nebraska football. I really will. But its not worth it. I gave up my tickets this year before they cancelled the season because I had no intention of going to a game due to oh I dont know, common sense. I had no intention being around screeching maskless droplet spewing fanatics while this virus exists in this  denial State.

So to the 2020 football season I say after a 5-7 season last year, a .500 season is progress, even if its is 0-0.

Sidenote---despite the objections of a band of maskless kooks spouting off conspiracy theories and bad science and general nuttiness, the Omaha City Council passed a mask mandate today. Lincolns positivity Covid rate went from 8% to 5% after that city defied our moron Governor and passed a mask mandate. Omaha;s rose to 11% for kowtowing to our idiot Governor. Maybe the future is brighter here now.

Negligent Homicide In The Heartland!

Well well well when we last left you the Trump virus was ravaging the heartland. Nebraska simply stopped reporting cases in meat packing plants, Iowa just flat out lied about their cases but what do you expect from a former drunk turned obnoxious Christian, like Governor Kim Reynolds (Harpy-Ia).

The cases keep growing in number, the deaths climb, and the leaders of this part of the nation imitate Trump better than Sara Cooper. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, a truly despicable deplorable, welcomes a quarter of a million maskless bikers from all over the country to the annual Sturgis white trash fest. Gotta hear that Kid Rock shit. Then they go home and kill some old people without guns or chains.

Kim Reynolds threatens schools if they dont hit 50% in person attendance with the iron hand of whatever Iowa does. You better show up, kids, or Aunt Lydia will get you into line real fast. You really do not want to hear Kim Reynolds screech, I have and its not pretty.

But this douchebag in Nebraska, Governor Pete Rickets. Pete Ricketts got run out of Chicago by his family of plutocrats because they wanted to buy the Chicago Cubs and didnt need that idiot trading Kris Bryant to the Cardinals for a Double A bench warmer and a bag of magic beans. They sent Pete to Nebraska because he wanted to be in politics and what better place to come than to Rubeville where he could buy himself a Senate seat. Well we know that failed miserably but the Governorship came up and he won because he has an R next to his name. Twice. God sometimes I hate this state.

Ricketts has been a unmitigated disaster during the pandemic. Aping his hero, The Treasoner in Chief, Ricketts refused to close down anything early on. All of it was a suggestion. Stay home, wear a mask, be careful but if you want to go out and smoke and drink and cough without a mask, knock yourselves out. And we here in Nebraska did just that. And now its worse than ever.

The Mayor of Lincoln , Leirion Gaylor Baird, a courageous woman indeed, mandated a mask policy because she was sick of Ricketts standing around pulling his Pete. Pete Ricketts (Trust Fund Baby-Il) threatened to sue her to stop the "heavy hand of government" which of course went nowhere because Ricketts is scared of strong women, much like his hero. The mask mandate remains in Lincoln despite the best efforts of boneheads who exist everywhere.

Here in Omaha, a city of half a million , our county Health Director , a woman named Adi Pour mandated masks effective August 3rd. Then Ricketts sensed an opportunity to wield his "heavy hand of government" and threatened to sue Aida Pour to keep Omaha unsafe and allow idiots to spread a disease because of freedom. Pour folded. The Mayor of Omaha, a Republican woman named Jean Stothert also took a powder and ran and hid claiming she didnt have the "power" to enact such a thing. So we are left out in the cold, keeping everyone in danger via Pete Ricketts and his freedom bullshit.

Now the Omaha City Council may step up to do what should have been done by two chickenshit women on August 3rd and vote in a mask mandate. Ricketts must be ejaculating freedom all over knowing he made two chicks back down to his power.

The heavy hand of government. Peter Ricketts (Fredo-Ne) hates the heavy hand of government. He hates it so much he is willing to put 2 million people in danger. Yet today, the heavy hand of government hater stood in front of the press and stated how much he wants an abortion ban in his fiefdom. The bill in the Nebraska Legislature, a gang of hicks and nitwits from cow towns with a few progressive city slickers thrown in for balance, would ban abortion after the first trimester. The same law has been declared unconstitutional in numerous states already but no mind for the Governor of Nebraska and his bought and paid for stooges in the legislature.

The heavy hand of government wants to put its hand on the brains and uteruses of Nebraska women and tell them you WILL have that baby. Your choice is fruitless because Peter Ricketts knows whats best and once that baby is born you are on your own as this Chicago shitheel refused to implement Medicaid despite the people of this state voting to expand it in 2018.

The heavy hand of Government only counts when Pete Ricketts decides its in his best interest. Like against the women and the poor.
