Chilling Effect Achieved!

The chilling effect is here. Corporate America is scared. They always get scared when their bottom line is threatened because Corporate America doesn't give a shit about the constitution, what they give a shit about is making money. And if they have to kowtow to a mad King, well they've proved they will. ABC settled with the Mad King over nothing. They took Trumps nuisance suit and just paid it. Chilling Effect 1. Paramount (owner of CBS) wants to merge with Skydance and in order to do so need FCC approval. They settled Trumps nuisance suit over an edit done by everyone from CBS down to the Lindell TV for $16 million. Also allegedly provided $16 million of free propaganda to advance authoritarianism. And now? They have fired Stephen Colbert, the Trump critic that holds nothing back. Oh, I guess technically he wasn't "fired" but his show was cancelled as of May 2026 when his contract is up. Trump gloats like the glorified thug he is.

Who's next? Jon Stewart? Jimmy Kimmel? Stewart's contract expires in December 2025. Kimmel's contract is up in 2026. Are they secure? Not with Donnie Dipshit in charge. ABC already folded to the bully boy in chief. Skydance will own Jon Stewart if the merger goes through. Do you think any of the cowardly media conglomerates will stand up to back channel demands to fire Kimmel or Stewart and replace them with "funnyman" Tony Hinchcliffe or "comedian" Theo Van? Will Dennis Miller make a comeback? Larry The Cable Guy hosting a late night ahow dedicated to kissing Trumps ass?

This really is a chilling effect on free speech. Conservatives have been whining for years that they are "censored" by big media. Anyone who has google knows what bullshit that is. But they thrive on being the victims. They hate watch Trump critics just so they can be offended and narc them out to the powers that be. The podcasters, the manosphere, the right wing paid Russian assets, the regime itself, and twitter, the Nazi forum some of us still fight with.

Colin Kaepernick was blacklisted for kneeling during the anthem. Jan 6ers were pardoned for trying to kill the Vice President, breaking into the Capitol and shitting in waste baskets. Breonna Taylor was murdered by a cop for sleeping. The cop who did it will serve one day in jail because Pam Bondi and the DOJ are racists. The Rosenbergs were killed for doing less spying for Russia than most of the people in this regime. Chilling effect.

Trump and his goons will continue to push the envelope further and further. The Democrats will do nothing. The courts will do nothing. The Supreme Court is nothing but a kangaroo court for Harlan Crowe and Donald Trump to do their bidding. We are in the throes of fascism right fucking now. Are you gonna do anything?

In a normal world, which hasn't existed since the Degenerate In Chief descended down the golden escalator to applause from paid actors in 2015 and called all Mexicans rapists and murderers which allowed the slime under the rocks to emerge. In a normal world, Colbert, the ratings winner, would be scooped up by someone. But in this world, are the media chickenshits willing to fight back?
